Career

Experience

  1. Senior Software Engineer · ByteDance (Tokopedia)

    Jan 2026 – Present
    • Own backend systems for the buyer order journey — Wishlist, Cart, Checkout, and Order History — supporting Tokopedia's core transaction flow.
    • Integrated a prescription-drug purchase flow, connecting third-party doctor-consultation results to enable regulated medicine sales, delivered on time to meet government compliance requirements.
    • Reintegrated and refactored the buyer order history service and database onto new backend infrastructure as part of a platform-wide enhancement initiative.
  2. Software Engineer · ByteDance (Tokopedia)

    Feb 2024 – Jan 2026
    • Led an end-to-end migration of the Wishlist platform — servers, consumers, databases (archive DB, dual-write, replication), search engine, and metrics — including load testing and a zero-downtime cutover.
    • Improved cart and checkout reliability by strengthening error detection and reducing false alarms, while driving daily cross-team issue triage.
    • Led implementation of a Release Train process — scheduled rebases, unified smoke testing, and end-to-end regression — resulting in more robust, lower-risk deployments.
    • Migrated database infrastructure to a new platform, improving cloud cost efficiency.
  3. Software Engineer · Tokopedia

    Jul 2021 – Feb 2024
    • Designed and implemented a high-availability architecture for buyer order history using multiple specialized data stores (search engine for filtering/paging, persistent store for full data, in-memory store for fast access) with automated healthcheck-based failover, keeping the transaction list available even when only one data store is healthy; filed as an IP publication.
    • Invited as co-speaker at Tokopedia START Summit 2023, presenting "The Evolution of Tokopedia's Transaction System into a Platform", covering how the transaction system supports Tokopedia's diverse product catalog.
  4. Software Engineer · PT. Voltras International
